Building a Foundation

Building a Foundation.jpg

MIRACLE has identified the four pillars surrounding a child’s life to be parents, educators, healthcare, and communities.  Each of these four pillars desires a safe environment that provides a communicative, educational, and supportive space that would allow children to freely express themselves when dealing with emotional, mental, or physical illnesses as well as other life related circumstances.

The collaborative-consistency within the pillars will play a major role in establishing a strong foundation for children.  Allowing children to participate in a life filled with consistency and clear communication will add value to their lives as they mature into young adults.

Parents

Introducing our selected genre into the homes of children at an early age will assist in developing family communication by initiating ice-breaker topics stimulated from our books. These discussions will allow parents to become acquainted with their children’s behaviors and possibly identify signs of bullying, low self-esteem, suicidal intentions, and other behaviors that can cause changing effects in their child’s life.

Parents will feel empowered when initiating engaging conversations with their children while developing life-long, strong bonds, and lasting relationships.

Educators

Incorporating our genre of books as a part of your school curriculum will allow students to best understand emotional, mental, physical, and medical differences. One of the primary goals is to assist in the development of leadership skills while learning to become team players. Our books will provide a blueprint that will enable students to openly discuss real-life circumstances and assist them in making better decisions for their lives.

A school environment that revolves around book clubs, open discussions, and projects such as theatrical skits will assist children in developing compassion and understanding for those that are emotionally, mentally, or physically different. Using our books will assist teachers in creating a positive classroom environment geared toward education versus bullying and conflicts. Ultimately, children facing bullying behaviors will feel more confident and sociable and able to focus their attention on excelling in their academic and developing their personal skills.

Building Healthcare.jpg

Healthcare

Using our books to create a relatable environment for children can assist physicians in gaining a child’s confidence and trust as their provider. A relatable relationship could also assist physicians in detecting and identifying if the child is experiencing hidden emotional or physical abuse.

Over time, children will feel comfortable communicating openly with their physicians while learning to become participants in their treatment plans. Allowing children to participate in their healthcare will not only increase their understanding and articulation of their health challenges, it will likely encourage them to follow the treatment plans developed by their physicians.

Communities

Using our books within your community environment will reinforce what homes, medical, and school systems are establishing. Communities that foster services for children, whether recreational or faith-based can implement discussion activities and events surrounding our book topics. Ultimately, these activities and events will assist in promoting family attendance and participation while creating an environment built on acceptance and respect for one another.

Overall, the implementation of consistencies in every facet of a child’s life will contribute to him/her having a more positive and productive future.
